Carman Poindexter is a woman of faith, a mother, mentor, and author whose life has been shaped by prayer and a deep trust in Jesus Christ. Raised on the coast of North Carolina, she learned from an early age to take life’s challenges to the Lord. Her first book, A Mother’s Prayer, shared her personal testimony and later inspired the creation of MPAC, a support group for mothers. Through that ministry, the lessons that would become A Mother’s 10 Commandments began to take shape.
When the Lord gave Carman Poindexter these 10 commandments for mothers, she recognized many of the same truths she had already been sharing with her MPAC moms. These principles are not only for mothers, but for fathers, grandparents, and anyone who influences a child’s life. Through prayer and faith, we can place our children under God’s covering and protection—because our children are never too old for A Mother’s 10 Commandments.
